STRONGEST CHARACTER: WRENNYN FOSTER

ELIMINATED: IRVIN STERLING, WAYLON MEHR

The Demise of Waylon Mehr

Waylon Mehr was in a tight spot.. A lion looking at you with hunger in it's eyes.. That is not something you want to see when you are alone and without any kind of weapon. Luckily his tight spot ended as quickly as it began. The lion leapt up and bit deep into his throat before Waylon could yell. He fell to the ground with a thud. The lion stood over him and tore him apart. What a tragic way to go. Hopefully that will satiate the lion for a while...

The Demise of Irvin Sterling

Irvin Sterling was doing pretty well for the hours before his demise. He woke up early on his sixth day on the island. "Alright.. time to go find some friends." he said to himself. He rose from his "bed" beneath a palm tree and left his blanket there. Figuring he could come back here if he didn't find anyone. He stretched his arms and began walking along a path. a few minutes later he came to an opening. He scanned the area and something caught his eyes... "Holy shit! That's a girl!" Irvin ran over to her quickly, rolling her over and checking her pulse. It was slow. "Noooo.... cmon, miss... wake up please. He shook her shoulder and tried opening her eyelids." He sat on his knees looking down at her features. He first realized that she had broken her ribs.. most likely in some kind of struggle. He then looks at her chest... a bit subconsciously for the record. A small dart the size of his ring finger is protruding from the right side of her chest.. "What the hell?!" He hears rustling behind him and rises. "Hello?" No response.. he picks up a rock nearby. "Show yourself!" He calls. He knows his bluff is all he has... and his bluff isn't very impressive at all. Five natives come out from hiding places. All around him. "shit... oh god no.." he mutters under his breath. He looks down at the girl and he whimpers slightly. He knows that if he leaves now... this girl will surely die.. One native moves much faster than the others and Irvin focuses on him. "Stay back... I'm warning you." The native pulls out a cruel looking short sword and thrusts it towards Irvin. he attempts to dodge the blade and it slashes his side. "Ow!" he cries, leaping back as the other four close in. "Help! Someone! Please, anyone!!"

Wrennyn Foster's Perspective

I awoke with a start in the middle of the night. I was sleeping soundly beside the fire on a pile of palm leaves that i made. It took a second for me to remember exactly where I was, and all of the events of the days before. I rubbed my eyes and stood, looking around the camp in the dark. I heard the noises of the forest... Crickets and whatnot. The camp was quieter. There was only the crackle of the fire, some snoring, and quiet talking between the few people still up near the fire. I tucked my bag into the pile of palm leaves and walked away from the camp. The sky was dark and filled with stars. Not the kind of view i was used to seeing before all of this. A while later I stood on the beach, looking at a moonlit ocean and listening the the waves his the sand. The wind was cool and shook the palm trees behind me.... Maybe this place wasn't all that bad after all. I sat down in the sand and stared out to sea, taking it all in. The sun rose during the next five or six hours. I wanted to watch the sun come up and I got to. I figured the the others would be waking up about now. I stood to return to the camp when I heard someone calling for help. "Help! Someone! Please, anyone!!" I ran straight into the woods, pushing branches aside as I sprinted through the thick foliage. I jumped out of the forest and into an opening. A man was wrestling with one of the natives and four others were closing in on him. A woman laid on the ground motionless. Wait! That was the woman I had saved before.. She was so close to the camp. "Hey!" I called, three of the five natives turn towards me with wide eyes. They walk towards me and draw short swords. I drew my flintlock pistols and one cowered.. I shot him first, dropping that gun. He lurched back with a yelp and fell backwards to the ground. I fired between the other two with the second gun to try and scare them off, but now they seemed hell bent on killing me. The gunshot drew the attention of the native wrestling the stranger and the stranger hit him over the head with the rock, rolling the native off of him and slamming the rock down on the native's skull. I drew my swords and motioned my two opponents to come closer with a smile.they both attacked at once and I blocked one of them, countering and shoving him onto the other. I looked back to the stranger and my jaw hit the floor. The stranger slid off of the native' blade and hit the ground with a note of finality. This caught me off guard and I didn't realize how fast the two remaining natives got back to their feet. A sharp pain hit my side and I dropped one of the swords as I stumbled to the side. I grimaced in pain as I looked at the slash across my gut. They both grinned devilishly and moved closer to me. They attacked in turns so it was easy to block their attacks, but it was all I could do. They were wearing me down and I was losing hope. One of them slashed at my arm, creating a cut acros my shoulder as I fell to my knees. This created a gap in their defence and I thrust my blade upwards, opening the chest of the first native. I fell onto my belly and groaned, looking over to the stranger laying silent in the sand. This was it.. Wrennyn Foster was done for... I rolled over with a groan and looked up. The final native looked down at me with his sword held lazily in his hand and all I could do was smile at him. A gunshot rang out and the native fell back, collapsing in on himself. I turned my head in disbelief... There she was... The girl was laying on her belly in the sand, propping herself up with her elbow and holding my flintlock pistol, smoke rolling out of the barrell. "Uhmm.. Thanks.." I groan slightly between words. She doesn't respond. She lets the gun fall from her hands and she struggles to hold herself up. I check my pocket. Hmm.. I guess the ammunition fell out when the native slashed my side. I slowly rose to my knees. Cringing from the sheer amount to pain. "I'm Wrennyn.." I note, lifting my hand into a half assed wave. "Alice White.." she responds. "... I guess we're equal now... I saved you... You returned the favor.." I forced myself to stand and walked over slowly to the girl. I picked up my swords and sheathed them. I bent down beside her. "Can you stand, Alice?" I ask. She shakes her head. I shake my head with a half smile. "Figures.." I take a second. Just sitting there in silence before picking myself up again. The pain was getting to be bearable. I bent down and lifted her up into my arms, walking slowly towards the camp... Then I thought for a moment... Only four of the five natives died...
